The Wolf Den was designed to be a 4-season van for camping, skiing and cross-country trips. It can comfortably seat and sleep three passengers without feeling crowded. We particularly love the Bamboo paneling and Baltic Birch custom cabinets on this van build, and there is loads of storage incorporated into the design for gear and supplies.

    • Insulation & Sound Control: The van is fully insulated with LizardSkin sound control and ceramic insulation, as well as 3M Thinsulate in the cavities, providing noise reduction and temperature control. This ensures a quieter and more comfortable environment inside.

    • Cabin Construction & Finish: Laminated Baltic Birch construction and marine-grade plywood panels form the base of the interior, offering a lightweight yet durable foundation. The upholstered cab headliner, rear transom, and door panels provide a polished finish, while bamboo ceiling panels with dimmable lighting zones add a modern touch.

    • Ventilation: Two MaxxAire 7500K fans with remote control allow for optimal air circulation, keeping the interior fresh and ventilated no matter the conditions.

    • Flooring & Windows: Marine-grade woven vinyl flooring paired with an insulated subfloor creates a durable and easy-to-clean surface. FlareSpace flares and dark-tinted windows with blackout shades offer privacy and keep the interior cool.

    • Sleeping Area: A bamboo bed top with a folding center panel and a custom 3-piece memory foam mattress provide a comfortable and adaptable sleeping arrangement, ensuring restful sleep after long days on the road.

    • Storage Solutions: Laminated Baltic Birch cabinets throughout, including garage and overhead storage, offer ample space to organize gear. Soft-close drawer glides and stainless steel marine-grade latches ensure secure and quiet storage during travel.

    • Plumbing: The Webasto dual-top diesel-fueled water and cabin heater provides hot water and warmth on demand, while dual 23-gallon water tanks over the wheel wells supply fresh water to the sink and exterior shower. The Scandvik marine-grade exterior spray shower includes hot and cold options, making cleaning up after outdoor adventures easy.

    • Kitchen: The custom laminated Baltic Birch galley with a bamboo countertop and folding side table is equipped with an Isotherm Drawer Inox 85 fridge-freezer, a Ruvati 15x15 sink with a brushed nickel faucet and sprayer, and a dual-burner induction cooktop, making meal prep convenient on the go.

    • Lighting: Flexible LED reading lamps with USB charging ports add convenience

    • Sound System: The sound system features an Alpine 8" subwoofer, Infinity Reference 6 1/2" door speakers, and Focal 5 1/4" rear ceiling speakers for immersive audio throughout the cabin.

    • Power System: The van is powered by three 100Ah BattleBorn lithium batteries, paired with a Xantrex Freedom XC2000 inverter/charger and a REDARC dual-input 12V battery charger with MPPT technology. This setup ensures reliable power for all electrical needs, whether off-grid or connected to shore power.

    • Solar & Monitoring: Four ZAMP solar panels (360W total) provide renewable energy, while a Victron LED battery monitor with Bluetooth connectivity allows real-time tracking of battery health and charge levels via smartphone.

    • Electrical & Connectivity: The van is equipped with multiple Blue Sea systems, including A/C and D/C circuit breakers, a 12V battery cutoff switch, and 120V GFI outlets for safety and convenience. Shore power is handled by a SmartPlug 30-amp connection with a 50' cord and adapter, ensuring easy access to external power.

    • Bumpers & Winch: The CA Tuned front bumper includes a SmittyBilt 12,000lb synthetic line winch with a Factor 55 FlatLink shackle mount for off-road recovery, while the Owl Vans ladder/tire carrier and Sherpa carrier provide additional exterior utility.

    • Suspension & Tires: The van’s suspension is upgraded with a Van Compass suspension package featuring Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks, a 4x4 lift kit, and Fox Racing rear shocks with Sumo Spring front upgrades. This setup, along with BF Goodrich T/A K02 tires on Black Rhino Arsenal wheels, ensures rugged off-road performance.

    • Lights: Exterior lighting includes a Fiamma F45s awning with LED lights, Baja Designs LP9 Pro LED lights with high/low settings and daytime running amber lights, and RIGID Industries LED scene and undercarriage lights, all controlled from the dash for easy operation.

    • Performance Enhancements: The van features a Mid City Engineering remote start system with high idle for power management during stationary use, and a DTE Systems Pedal Commander 2.0 for enhanced throttle response, improving performance on and off the road.

    The Abeona custom van was designed to be comfortable even on extended trips. It is loaded with creature comforts, like a stowable shower and a high-end kitchen complete with induction cooktop and coffeemaker. It’s powered by the SAGA 4V power system with a 9.6kW battery bank and 270W solar power, so it remains functional even for extended off-grid trips, and the advanced climate control system means it can be used all year round.

    Zen Den

    The Zen Den was created for a family who wants to enjoy the best of both indoor and outdoor living while on camping adventures. We managed to get 5 sleeping spaces into the van by incorporating a rooftop tent and folding bench seat. The layout is highly configurable and slide-out rear kitchen saves space while allowing them to cook outdoors.

    This van was designed for an active couple who loves skiing, so it was important that the van was equipped for icy roads and sub-freezing conditions. In addition to a fantastic heating and suspension system, the van has features like frost-proof plumbing so they can take a hot shower after adventures.
