White River Overland (WRO) is a professional van and truck outfitter based in Aspen, Colorado and surrounded by the White River National Forest. Born from a love of adventure travel, camping, mountain biking, skiing and backcountry touring, WRO was formed to build capable adventure Vans and outfit overland vehicles. Supporting an open, responsive and transparent dialogue with each client, our goal is to exceed expectations by completing projects on a timely basis without compromising the quality of work. From custom builds to our proven designs, WRO is able to tailor projects to specific applications and budgets.
Located just outside of Aspen core, the WRO shares space with its sister company, Cracks & Racks, a 23-year local Aspen company specializing in sales and installation of AutoGlass and Car Racks & Accessories. Always learning and evolving, our build team uses a collaborative work environment and shared experiences to continually improve the quality and functionality of the builds. The bottom line is that we use our own products and love what we do.
Our most common van builds use the popular Mercedes Sprinter platform. One of the few vans with a factory 4x4 option, we love transforming these crew or cargo vans into overland adventure vehicles. Leveraging our relationships with manufacturers like Webasto, 3M, Adventure Wagon and others, we’re able to offer custom interior builds that start with solid insulation and sound-deadening and add beds, cabin and water heaters, seating, galleys, water systems, refrigerators, battery and power systems, lighting, storage, solar charging, audio-visual, wheels, tires, racks and anything else to support the adventure lifestyle.
trucks, jeeps and suvs
As a certified A.R.E. topper dealer, we install truck toppers and can add racks, lighting and other functional and design elements to your truck. We also love Jeeps and SUVs and frequently install bumpers, winches, light bars, step bars, solar packages, cargo racks and other add-ons to trucks and love hearing customer ideas on how to make their vehicle more functional and unique.
