This van was designed for an active couple who loves skiing, so it was important that the van was equipped for icy roads and sub-freezing conditions. In addition to a fantastic heating and suspension system, the van has features like frost-proof plumbing so they can take a hot shower after adventures. 

    • Insulation & Soundproofing: The interior is equipped with LizardSkin sound control and ceramic insulation, significantly reducing noise levels and improving climate control. Additionally, 3M Thinsulate insulation is placed in the van's cavities, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere, whether you're parked or on the move.

    • Adventure Wagon Interior: The Adventure Wagon setup features a bamboo ceiling, complete with mule bags and an upholstered cab headliner, providing both functionality and an aesthetically pleasing environment. Sliding windows in the bunk zone enhance ventilation and visibility.

    • Ventilation: Two MaxxAire 7500K fans with remote controls enable easy airflow management, crucial for maintaining a fresh interior, especially during warm weather. The driver’s side acrylic window is dark-tinted and includes a screen and blackout shade, offering flexibility in light control and privacy.

    • Durable Flooring: The TPO coin dot flooring, combined with an insulated subfloor and integrated L-track for bike mounting, ensures durability and versatility for active lifestyles while providing comfort underfoot.

    • Storage Solutions: A locking cabinet with an integrated safe offers secure storage for valuables, while SeaLand Pro airline L-track Vantale pockets maximize space efficiency and accessibility.

    • Sleeping: The Adventure Wagon MOAB bed features bamboo construction with gear rails and a configurable 3-piece mattress.

    • Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with a RecPro 1.0 cu.ft. microwave oven with integrated venting and a dual-burner induction cooktop. A custom galley cabinet features dedicated storage for kitchen essentials. The Isotherm Drawer Inox 85 fridge/freezer keeps your food fresh, while a Ruvati 15x15 sink with a brushed nickel faucet/sprayer and removable cutting board ensures efficient food preparation and cleanup.

    • Bathroom and Shower: The Thetford cassette toilet is mounted in a hidden compartment on a detachable base, so it can be used indoors or outdoors. A Scandvik marine-grade exterior spray shower with a 6' extension adds convenience for cleaning up after outdoor adventures.

    • Hot Water: The Webasto Dual-Top diesel-fueled water and cabin heater guarantees warm showers and a comfortable living space in colder climates. A custom 20-gallon water tank fits neatly over the passenger side wheel well.

    • Audio: The sound quality is amazing with an Alpine 8" compact powered subwoofer, Infinity Reference 6 1/2" door speakers, and additional rear ceiling speakers wired in parallel.

    • Solar Power System: The van features a ZAMP solar system with 260W solar panels (2 x 90W, 1 x 80W) to harness renewable energy.

    • Battery Management: The electrical system is supported by two 100Ah BattleBorn lithium batteries, complemented by a REDARC dual input 12V battery charger with an MPPT charge controller for efficient charging. The Xantrex Freedom XC2000 inverter/charger ensures reliable power conversion, supporting various electrical devices.

    • Monitoring & Control: A Victron LED battery monitor with Bluetooth connectivity lets you track battery status via smartphone, ensuring you're always aware of your energy levels. This is essential for planning longer trips and managing power consumption effectively.

    • Circuitry & Outlets: The van’s electrical system includes a 13-circuit Blue Sea DC circuit panel and two 30 AMP A/C circuit breakers for robust power distribution. Additionally, three 120V GFI outlets are strategically located (DS front wall, galley, rear door) for convenient access to power when needed.

    • Lighting: LED dimmable red/white overhead lights, along with illuminated switches and interior cabinet lighting, create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Reading lamps in the bed zone feature USB charging ports for added convenience.

    • Tires & Suspension: The van is outfitted with BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires on Black Rhino Overland wheels, offering excellent traction and durability for off-road adventures. The Van Compass VS30 2" lift kit with Fox Racing rear shock and Sumo Spring front upgrades provides enhanced suspension performance, making for a smoother ride on rugged terrain.

    • Awning & Light Bars: A Thule Hideaway 10'6" roof mount awning offers shade and protection from the elements, ideal for outdoor activities. The Trail FX 40" dual-row light bar, along with Baja Designs LP9 Sport LED lights mounted on a VanCompass light mount, ensures exceptional visibility during nighttime excursions.

    •  Storage Accessories: An Owl Vans spare tire carrier allows for easy access to the spare tire while maximizing usable space. An Aluminess side-mount ladder with deck tape facilitates safe rooftop access for gear storage or maintenance.

    The Abeona custom van was designed to be comfortable even on extended trips. It is loaded with creature comforts, like a stowable shower and a high-end kitchen complete with induction cooktop and coffeemaker. It’s powered by the SAGA 4V power system with a 9.6kW battery bank and 270W solar power, so it remains functional even for extended off-grid trips, and the advanced climate control system means it can be used all year round.

We managed to get 5 sleeping spaces into the van by incorporating a rooftop tent and folding bench seat. The layout is highly configurable and slide-out rear kitchen saves space while allowing them to cook outdoors.
