The Abeona custom van was designed to be comfortable even on extended trips. It is loaded with creature comforts, like a stowable shower and a high-end kitchen complete with induction cooktop and coffeemaker. It’s powered by the SAGA 4V power system with a 9.6kW battery bank and 270W solar power, so it remains functional even for extended off-grid trips, and the advanced climate control system means it can be used all year round.

    • Insulation & Sound Deadening: The van’s interior features sound-deadening material and 3M Thinsulate insulation in all van cavities, which provides improved temperature control and noise reduction.

    • Upholstery: Marine-grade plywood panels are upholstered throughout the interior, including the cab headliner, rear transom, and bench seat, offering a durable and visually cohesive design.

    • Windows: The interior is equipped with Arctic Tern windows, including a 450 x 1100 window in the driver’s side forward location and 300 x 700 windows in the bunk area, providing ventilation and natural light.

    • Storage: Garage cabinets and overhead storage are crafted from laminated LitePly material, maximizing storage space without adding unnecessary weight. The galley is custom-built using LitePly with a walnut countertop and a walnut folding side table for added convenience. The bench seat also includes storage drawers.

    • Climate Control: A Dometic 13,500 BTU air conditioning unit is installed for cooling, while a MaxxAire 7500K fan with remote control provides additional airflow. The van includes 2tec2 woven vinyl flooring over an insulated subfloor, offering durability and thermal insulation. The insulated window coverings aid in temperature control while also giving privacy.

    • Safety: A 12V CO detector monitors carbon monoxide levels and enhances safety.

    • Sleeping & Seating: The van includes a 3-piece 5" memory foam mattress with a removable cover for easy cleaning. The folding, stowable magnetic center bed panel helps maximize space when not in use. The bench seat converts into an additional sleeping area.

    • Kitchen & Storage: A RecPro 1.0 cu.ft. microwave oven with integrated venting and dedicated storage for an induction cooktop, coffee station, and tableware is included. The Isotherm Cruise 110 fridge/freezer provides cold storage.

    • Plumbing: A stowable interior shower with teak flooring and a dedicated gray tank handles indoor water use. A dedicated compartment for the Dometic cassette toilet provides easy access and storage. The 30-gallon wheel well water tank supplies the sink and indoor shower.

    • Climate Control: The van is equipped with a Webasto Dual-Top diesel-fueled hot water and cabin heater for heating and hot water needs.

    • Sound System: The sound system includes an Alpine 8" subwoofer, Infinity 6 1/2" door speakers, Focal 5 1/4" rear ceiling speakers, and a Sonos Roam SL Bluetooth speaker with a dedicated power cable.

    • Lighting: The van features 3-zone dimmable lighting with a 3000K color temperature for adjustable ambiance. There is also LED garage lighting with front and rear controls, as well as flexible LED reading lamps with USB charging ports.

    • Solar Power: ZAMP 270W solar panels (3x90W) provide renewable energy for the van.

    • Battery System: A 48V power system with a 9.6kW battery bank stores energy, and a Bluetooth-enabled battery monitoring system allows real-time tracking of power levels.

    • Shore Power: The SmartPlug 30-Amp shore power connection comes with a 50' cord and a 30Amp to 15Amp adapter plug for flexibility when accessing external power.

    • Bumpers & Winch: The van is equipped with Backwoods Adventure Mods front and rear bumpers. The front bumper includes a Warn Evo 12,000lb synthetic line winch with a Factor 55 FlatLink shackle mount. The rear bumper features RIGID flush-mounted backup lighting, controlled via an sPod system for easy operation.

    • Suspension & Tires: A Van Compass VS30 Stage 4.3 suspension package includes Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks, a 4X4 lift kit, and Fox Racing rear shocks with Sumo Spring front upgrades for enhanced off-road capability. The van rides on Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires (265/75/16) paired with Black Rhino wheels for traction and durability.

    • Lights: The van includes Baja Designs LP9 Pro LED lights with high/low and daytime running amber options, along with Baja Designs SAE-compliant fog lights in white and amber. There are RIGID Industries LED scene lights for campsite illumination and LED undercarriage lights to improve visibility of road obstacles, all controlled through the sPod system.

    • Exterior Accessories: Owl Vans ladder/tire carrier, B2 carrier, and step bars add utility and easy access to rooftop storage and exterior equipment. A FlatLine Van Co low-profile roof rack with awning provision and front fairing is installed, supporting a Thule 12'3" hideaway awning for shade and weather protection.

    •  Performance & Efficiency: A Mid City Engineering remote start system with high idle ensures optimized power output when parked. The DTE Systems Pedal Commander 2.0 improves throttle response for better driving performance.

We managed to get 5 sleeping spaces into the van by incorporating a rooftop tent and folding bench seat. The layout is highly configurable and slide-out rear kitchen saves space while allowing them to cook outdoors.

    This van was designed for an active couple who loves skiing, so it was important that the van was equipped for icy roads and sub-freezing conditions. In addition to a fantastic heating and suspension system, the van has features like frost-proof plumbing so they can take a hot shower after adventures.
